From Naha and Chatan to northern Okinawa
Walk through Churaumi Aquarium, cross Kouri Bridge to the island’s beach, then explore the streets of American Village. This bus trip brings the aquarium and island views into one day, with transport between stops taken care of.
Use a day while staying in Naha or Chatan to travel from the aquarium to the coast of northern Okinawa. Pair it with a separate day swimming on an outlying island, and your trip can include both underwater sights and views from Kouri Bridge. Choose a day you can keep free from morning to evening.
If you want to visit Kouri Island and Cape Manzamo as well as the aquarium, a bus tour brings the journeys together without finding bus stops or making connections. At each stop, you have free time until the meeting time.
If the aquarium is your main destination, you can also take a bus there independently. A rental car suits a day of swimming on Kouri Island or visiting island cafés, when you want to choose your stops and how long to stay.
Traffic can delay the return journey. Plan this tour for a day when you are staying overnight, rather than connecting to an island ferry or flight that evening.
After seeing the aquarium’s marine life, cross the bridge to Kouri Island. There is time for souvenir shopping and the sea views at Cape Manzamo before the final stop at American Village.
Head inside for the vast Kuroshio Sea tank. This stop applies to the aquarium ticket option. Your free time in the park also needs to cover lunch and the walk to and from the bus.
Cross Kouri Bridge to the beach at its base. This is a short stop for photos of the sea and bridge together. Heart Rock and a trip around the island are not part of the listed itinerary.
Choose sweets to take home, such as purple sweet potato tarts. The stop is short, so it helps to have a few purchases in mind before going inside.
See the rock shaped like an elephant’s trunk above the sea. If you visit the viewing area, pay the admission fee on site.
Walk between colorful buildings or head to the waterfront. If shopping is on your list, choose your stores in advance to make use of the 50-minute stop.
The listed order and stop durations are planned and may change with traffic or other conditions. The first attraction differs if you choose the Tropical Dream Center option.
Deciding which exhibits to see first makes it easier to leave time for a meal. Here is one way to divide the stop around the main tank. These are suggested timings, not official visit durations; adjust them to your meeting time on the day.
This example allows 30 minutes for the return walk, 80 minutes inside and 40 minutes for lunch: 150 minutes in total. Meal queues and walking pace will affect this. Dolphin shows and feeding talks have set start times, so prioritize the exhibits you want to see rather than planning to fit everything in.

For the main tank, corals and deep-sea creatures. This option includes admission to Churaumi Aquarium.

There is no option that includes admission to both attractions. Before buying a separate ticket after booking, check which attraction you have already selected.
Meet at a designated pickup point; individual hotel pickup is not included. The tour does not depart from Tomari Port. Plan to reach the pickup point selected in your booking at least 10 minutes before departure.
An option for those using Kencho-mae Station or staying near the prefectural office end of Kokusai Street. Meet at the roadside location shown in your confirmation, not inside the building.
An option for those staying near Omoromachi Station or in Shintoshin. Check the map in your booking confirmation for the tour bus pickup position on the T Galleria side.
An option for those staying around American Village. Look up the walking route from your accommodation to the information center in advance.

Lunch costs extra. Eat during your free time at the aquarium and Ocean Expo Park. Eating on the bus is prohibited, so allow time to finish your meal before returning to the meeting point.

The product information says luggage can be stored in the bus luggage compartment. If you have large bags or several pieces, check with the operator and provide their sizes and quantity. Keep valuables and anything needed at stops in a bag with you.
