Check four separate language needs

An English booking page does not establish that an English sightseeing guide is included. Being able to ask questions and being able to listen to recorded commentary are different needs.

Check the spoken Chinese variety in the selected option. Traditional and Simplified Chinese labels alone do not establish Mandarin or Cantonese conversation or audio. Unverified does not mean unavailable.

Choose where to spend a full day

Churaumi Aquarium and Kouri Island

The northern bus allows about 150 minutes at Ocean Expo Park, including your meal and walking time. Aquarium and Tropical Dream Center admissions are separate options: choose the aquarium option if that is your destination. Kouri is a short stop, not time set aside for swimming.

Shuri Castle and Okinawa World

The southern bus changes its route and stop durations on October 1, 2026. Use the itinerary and pickup details for your travel date rather than carrying September's schedule into October.

Compare the total for two adults and children aged 4 and 9

This example compares four people travelling on the same date. Tickets and meals determine what to add to the booking total. Price each child using the booking site's age categories.

4- or 9-hour charter

Admission and meals
Admission and meals cost extra unless specifically included
What changes the family total
Add admission for your party of four and meals. Check child seats, tolls and parking against the selected option

8-hour guided Naha tour

Admission and meals
Admission to specified attractions included; food and drinks extra
What changes the family total
Check which attractions are covered by the group price, then add meals and any extra stops

Northern / southern bus

Admission and meals
Northern: select aquarium or Tropical Dream Center tickets. Southern: Shuri Castle and Okinawa World tickets included. Lunch extra
What changes the family total
Check seats and tickets for each child's age; do not add admission again when the ticket is included

Open-top bus

Admission and meals
Only morning Shuri includes paid-area admission. Chatan / Senaga include no attraction tickets. Food and drinks extra
What changes the family total
Infant lap travel and a paid infant seat have different prices. Select the applicable categories and seats for ages 4 and 9

Include breaks and luggage in the choice

A private car lets you discuss nursing, lunch and toilet stops within the booked time. Specify your party, child seats, stroller and suitcases together to establish which vehicle can carry them. Scheduled buses keep breaks within the allotted stops.

When walking or stairs are difficult

A private car may not reach an attraction's entrance. Consider walking inside each site and whether your party can use the stairs to an open-top bus's upper deck.

Family total = the booking total for four + excluded admission and meals + travel to the meeting point + confirmed extras. Settle private-car overtime charges and any unresolved seat or luggage conditions before booking.

Choose an alternative by when your sea trip is cancelled

First check the original operator's cancellation notice and whether you still need to attend the meeting point. Keep this separate from cancelling the booking yourself, and settle the original booking before adding an overlapping one.

The day before: a full-day outing may still fit

If you can leave the following morning, compare routes and availability for northern or southern buses and private cars. An extra dedicated English guide for the charter requires contact at least 2 days ahead; do not count on arranging one the day before.

That morning: narrow the choice by remaining meeting times

The Shuri open-top route meets at 9:10; exclude it once that time has passed. Chatan meets at 12:20 and Senaga at 15:50. Allow time to reach the meeting point outside the Okinawa Prefectural Assembly in Naha. Exclude morning full-day buses once their boarding time has passed too.

Weather makes going out difficult: leave the day unbooked

Stay at your accommodation while strong winds or heavy rain make travel difficult. Consider an indoor Naha activity such as kintsugi only when transport is running and you can reach the venue. Open-top buses include exposed seats and outdoor walks, so they do not provide shelter from rain.

These are usual itinerary times. Same-day GYG acceptance and seats have not been verified; a listing does not guarantee participation. Check the operator's service notice, cutoff and meeting place, and travel only after the booking is confirmed.

Continue with a detailed comparison

Before you book

How should I compare children's costs?

Include the seats and tickets applicable to each age. For a private car, choose a vehicle that fits the required child seats and luggage, and add any extra charges.

Where can I go without swimming?

Visit Shuri Castle or Churaumi Aquarium, or walk around Chatan and Senaga Island. Town walks and historic sites include outdoor walking.

Does Chinese or Korean audio mean I can ask staff questions in that language?

Audio and conversation are separate services. Northern and open-top buses list Chinese and Korean audio, but the language for questions or assistance must be checked for your departure.
