Alongside a day swimming on an outlying island, make time for a castle, a limestone cave and seaside streets. Keep your base in Naha while reaching places that take time to travel between independently.
Go beyond Shuri Castle's free areas
Admission to the paid area is included, with time to walk past stone walls and castle gates. The main hall is under reconstruction, so check which areas you can visit on your travel date.
Gyokusendo Cave and Okinawan performances
At Okinawa World, head underground to explore the limestone cave. If you also want to see an Eisa performance, check show times on arrival and work back from the time you need to return to the bus.
Senaga Island and American Village
Walk by the sea and use your free time for a meal or shopping. The order and length of the stops change between September and October, so choose the itinerary for your travel date.
From Shuri Castle to the south, finishing on Senaga Island
Through September 30, 2026
Depart from Naha in the morning and have lunch at American Village. The afternoon takes you to Okinawa World and Peace Memorial Park.

The scheduled return is around 18:00, outside the Okinawa Prefectural Assembly in Naha. Traffic can affect stop durations and the return time. Admission to paid facilities within Peace Memorial Park is not listed among the tour inclusions.
Start at a seaside café and finish in Chatan
From October 1, 2026
The revised itinerary includes a drink at Banta Cafe. You can board in Chatan as well as Naha, making this an option while staying near American Village.

From November 27 to December 10, 2026, Banta Cafe is closed and the tour visits Onna no Eki instead. A Blue Seal ice cream voucher for designated outlets replaces the drink. The scheduled return to Naha is around 18:40. Peace Memorial Park is not part of the regular itinerary from October.
Admission is included. Choose lunch along the way
Included in the price
Bus transport, an attendant, admission to Shuri Castle's paid area and Okinawa World, insurance and taxes. From October, a drink at Banta Cafe is also included, or the stated alternative benefit when the café is closed.
Pay for separately
Lunch, drinks, shopping and additional activities. The itinerary allows for lunch during free time at American Village through September, and at Okinawa World from October.
Free time also needs to cover meals, walking around the attractions and getting back to the bus. If you want to see both Gyokusendo Cave and a performance, decide what to prioritize and leave time to eat.
Meet near Kencho-mae in Naha, or board in Chatan from October
Naha: usually meet at 8:50 for a 9:00 departure
Head to the front of Nippon Rent-A-Car at Palette Kumoji near the prefectural office. Match the location to the map in your booking confirmation and look for the bus identified by Cerulean Blue's staff.
Chatan: available from October 2026
The operator's usual itinerary lists a 9:30 meeting time outside Chatan Tourist Information Center. Select Chatan departure when booking and check your confirmed meeting time and location.
Buses for other routes also leave from these meeting points. Show staff your booking for the South and Central Okinawa / A Course to find the right bus.
Leave room after the return journey
Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a hat, drinking water and rain gear. At each stop, you have free time until the meeting time; be back at the bus before departure.
The return can be delayed, so avoid building the day around a connecting flight or ferry to an outlying island. This tour fits more easily on a day when you are staying overnight in Naha or Chatan.

Are the September and October routes the same?
The itinerary changes. Through September 30, 2026, the tour visits Peace Memorial Park; from October 1, Banta Cafe joins the route. The order, time at each stop and lunch location also change, so check the itinerary for the date you book.
Are lunch and admission tickets included?
Admission to Shuri Castle's paid area and Okinawa World is included. Lunch costs extra. Buy your own meal during free time at American Village through September, or at Okinawa World from October.
Can I join if I do not speak Japanese?
The tour uses audio guidance, and the attendant may not speak your preferred language. GetYourGuide states that the operator's office can provide support in Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean when needed. Check the available audio languages and how to use the system for your selected option.
Can I bring young children?
Before booking, check child and infant ticket categories, seat arrangements and whether strollers can be stored. There is walking at the attractions, so allow for children's meals and breaks within the free time.
Is the stop at Umikaji Terrace guaranteed?
Events or other circumstances may prevent a visit. The operator describes an alternative itinerary that extends the time at American Village and Okinawa World in that case. Check any changes with staff on the day.
