Kume and Tonaki routes
From August 31 through September 15, 2026, Ferry Kaiho is in dock and Ferry Ryukyu runs one daily round trip via Tonaki: Naha 09:00→Kume 12:30 and Kume 14:00→Naha 17:30. The usual afternoon departure from Naha and morning departure from Kume do not operate during this period. From September 16, the first sailing from both Naha and Kume leaves at 09:00, calls at Tonaki, and arrives at 12:30. Second sailings leave both ports at 14:00 and generally do not run on Mondays. The Naha departure is normally direct and arrives at 17:00; from April through October, the Friday and Saturday Kume departure calls at Tonaki and arrives at 17:30, while other operating days run direct and arrive at 17:00. On September 21, a temporary second sailing leaves both Naha and Kume at 14:00. Kumejima Ocean Jet / KO Jet
Kumejima Ocean Jet / KO Jet's Tsumugi is separate from Kume Line ferries. It has been suspended since August 12, 2026, and no restart date has been announced. As of August 24, 2026, the vessel had been hauled out for inspection and repairs. It is not treated as a current travel option until KO Jet announces that service has resumed.
