For Yanbaru Express buses toward Churaumi and the Chatan Liner, board on the Tomarin main-building side. For local buses, check each departure’s boarding location and route in the results above.

After getting off the bus

Head toward the aquarium via Ocean Expo Park’s North Gate side. The estimated walking time follows the hotel’s official guide.

Enter the park through the Central Gate. The aquarium’s official website gives a walking time of about 10 minutes to the entrance.

Use the Naha-bound boarding area at the stop with the same name. Do not simply wait where you got off: check the return boarding position and destination display on site.
Work back from your scheduled return departure, allowing for the walk to the stop and time to wait, to decide when to finish your visit.
Arriving before the aquarium’s last admission does not necessarily leave enough time before your return bus. The planner above lets you compare both journeys together.
The aquarium’s opening hours and the last Yanbaru Express bus are separate. Return buses also do not take reservations, and you may not be able to board if the bus is full.

Staying in Motobu
Some accommodation in Motobu is not within walking distance of the aquarium or a bus stop. Check the address, nearest bus stop and check-in time together.
Board northbound services on the Yanbaru Express Bus Airport Line at Tomari Takahashi on the Tomarin / Tomari Port side. Do not cross Route 58.
The main stop is Royal View Hotel Churaumi (Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium); the hotel states that the aquarium is about 5 minutes on foot. From the preceding Kinen Koen-mae (Central Gate) stop, the aquarium entrance is about 10 minutes on foot.
The 14:26 bus arrives at 16:32, leaving only 41 minutes before the last listed Yanbaru Express return at 17:13. Walking both ways and waiting for the bus reduce your visiting time. Choose an earlier outbound bus or check another return route with the operator.
