Tokashiki itinerary
Tokashiki is about 40 minutes from Naha by high-speed boat. Choose one of two separate day-trip plans: Aharen Beach or Tokashiku Beach.
Choose by destination and by how much of the boat, island transport, and beach experience you want bundled.
Subtotal for one adult of high-school age or older, without discounts or tax exemptions: a return journey on the same vessel type and return bus travel between Tokashiki Port and Aharen Beach.
The sailing date determines the fare, regardless of when you book.

Meals, showers, luggage storage and equipment rental are excluded. If you choose a service with port transfers, subtract the return bus fare from this subtotal before adding that service.

The ferry operating decision is made at 08:00 on the travel day. Check the official Ferry Portal after 08:00.
For tours, check the product page, your booking voucher and emails from the operator. A tour may be cancelled because of sea conditions even when the ferry operates.
Independent travelers must buy tickets at least 30 minutes before departure and board at least 10 minutes before departure. Tour participants should follow the meeting time and place in their booking instructions.
Check the village's boarding instructionsIf returning from Aharen by bus, check the operator's timetable for your travel date and choose a departure that allows you to catch your return boat. Change and collect your luggage before going to the stop. You cannot board the bus while wet. For tour transfers, follow your booking instructions.

Choose one of the two plans below. They are separate day-trip options, not an itinerary that visits both beaches on the same day.
A day-trip plan centered on Aharen Beach, using the island bus or another arranged option from Tokashiki Port.
The high-speed boat departs from the north side of Tomari Port at 09:00. Arriving around 08:15–08:30 leaves enough time to collect your ticket and walk to the North Shore Passenger Waiting Area. Tour participants should arrive for their assigned meeting time.
Marine Liner Tokashiki reaches Tokashiki Port in about 40 minutes.
After disembarking, prepare to continue from the port toward Aharen Beach.
Aharen Beach is about 10 minutes from Tokashiki Port. Tour participants use the transfer included with their booking, while independent travelers take the island bus or another local transport option.
Food, rentals, and showers are available around Aharen Beach, making it easy to plan swimming and walks at your own pace. If you have booked a local activity, you can combine it with free time on the beach.
If taking the bus independently, check the official timetable for a service that connects with your return boat, then change and collect your luggage before that bus departs. If your plan includes a transfer, follow the booking instructions for the ride back to Tokashiki Port. You cannot board the bus while wet.
On the basic timetable, the high-speed boat leaves Tokashiki Port at 17:00 in winter or 17:30 in summer and returns to Tomari Port in about 40 minutes. Winter runs from October 1 through the end of February, and summer from March 1 through September 30.
Return to Naha by high-speed boat and finish the day trip.

The itinerary depends on the boat selected at booking: one option uses the high-speed boat and the other the regular ferry. The high-speed boat reaches Tokashiki Port at 09:40 and the regular ferry at 11:10; both connect to the included island shuttle to Tokashiku Beach.
The product page recommends arriving about one hour before departure when possible. Complete the ticket exchange by 08:40 at the latest.

On the basic timetable, the regular ferry leaves Tokashiki Port at 15:30 in winter or 16:00 in summer and returns to Tomari Port in about 70 minutes.
Options with round-trip boat tickets generally need to be booked at least seven days in advance. Times marked “around” are planning estimates based on the boat arrival time and the transfer duration listed for the product. The boat, meeting point, and transfer time are set by booking option and listed on the voucher issued after booking. Sea turtles are wild animals, so sightings are not guaranteed. Food, rentals, showers, and bus access are available. The bus ride from Tokashiki Port takes about 10 minutes.
Best if you want a quieter beach and a chance of seeing sea turtles. The regular island bus does not serve Tokashiku Beach. To visit, use a taxi, rental car or rental bike, or a prearranged tour transfer.
By high-speed boat, Tokashiki Port is about 40 minutes from Naha's Tomari Port. Food, rentals, showers, and bus connections around Aharen Beach make it easy to plan a day trip. Sailing times are based on the monthly timetable for the season and travel date.
For a DIY trip, book the official ferry, island bus, meals, and beach time yourself. Both boat-inclusive packages introduced on this page include round-trip boat tickets, so do not also book the same ferry route through the official portal after reserving either package. Check the selected option and your post-booking voucher for the boat, meeting point, and times actually included.
Aharen Beach has food, rentals, showers, and bus access around the beach area. Tokashiku Beach has fewer visitors than Aharen and sea turtles may be seen there. There is no regular island bus to Tokashiku Beach, so you need a taxi, rental vehicle, or prearranged transfer.
