Use this guide to choose a Naha-side stay before an early departure from Tomari Port or after returning from an island. It separates access to the main building from access to the north side and includes luggage considerations.
This is not a list of island accommodation or a general ranking of Naha hotels. It covers only location and confirmed information relevant to a pre- or post-ferry stay at Tomari Port.
Check separately whether a hotel is close to the Tomarin main building, the North Shore Passenger Waiting Room, or the actual boarding point. A ticket counter and the place where you board are not necessarily the same location.
Not every ferry at Tomari Port departs from directly in front of the Tomarin main building. Depending on the vessel, the walking distance to the main-building side, the North Shore Passenger Waiting Room and the actual boarding point will differ.

The map points are about 60 m and roughly one minute from the main-building side, and about 440–550 m and five to eight minutes from the north-side area. Being connected to Tomarin does not make it the closest option for every vessel.
