If you cancel your booking
The checked Naha morning pickup package lists free cancellation up to 72 hours in advance; the Chatan product lists 24 hours. Confirm the exact cutoff time and the terms of your selected package on the booking screen.
Cancellation because of weather or sea conditions
Rain alone does not tell you whether the tour will run. Check messages from the operator. If the operator cancels, follow its rescheduling or refund instructions. Make sure you can receive booking updates.
If no whales are sighted
Sightings of wild whales are not guaranteed. Klook’s special no-sighting terms contain both 2026 and 2027 dates, while GetYourGuide still shows 2026 dates. Do not assume a refund applies in 2027: ask the seller to confirm the no-sighting terms for your year, date and package.
Clothing, bags and children
Bring a windproof, waterproof jacket and wear shoes with good grip. Keep bags small. Large luggage cannot be stored on the Naha transfer package. Include every child in the booking and check boarding restrictions based on age and sea conditions. Both products exclude pregnant participants.

Should I choose Naha or Chatan?
If you are staying in Naha and can reach a designated pickup point, check the transfer package departing from Naha Miegusuku Port. If you are staying near Chatan and can get to the port independently, Chatan Fisherina is an option. The Naha pickup service does not cover every hotel.
Is three hours enough for the whole tour?
The compared products allow up to three hours on board. Check-in, travel to the port and transfers take additional time. The Naha transfer may involve a wait of over 30 minutes, so avoid a fixed commitment such as a flight immediately after the scheduled return.
Will I get a refund if I do not see whales?
A refund does not apply automatically. The special guarantees on the sales pages contain old-year dates or a mixture of years. Ask the seller to confirm the no-sighting terms for your year, date and package. These terms are separate from ordinary cancellation and operator cancellation policies.
