Time in Onna's sea, at your group's pace
Okinawa Blue Cave Snorkeling | Into the Blue with Your Own Guide
Light entering the cave turns the water blue, with tropical fish swimming in the sea beyond. Take time to get used to your mask or check how the children are doing. This snorkeling trip pairs your group with its own guide.
A guide close enough to ask
For a first snorkel or a family trip
UNDA Snorkeling Club's private option assigns a guide to your booked group. Ask about using the equipment and discuss a swimming pace that works for everyone in your group.
Get ready before entering the water
Masks, fins, life jackets and other equipment are provided. If the equipment or breathing feels unfamiliar, tell the guide and practice before setting off. You can also discuss how comfortable you are with swimming before booking.
Let the guide take photos while you watch the sea
Digital photos and video from the experience are included. You can take home a record of your time in the water without bringing your own camera equipment. Check how to receive the files on the day.
'Private' refers to the dedicated guide. It does not give you exclusive use of the Blue Cave: other visitors will be in the cave and the surrounding sea.
Check the participation rules and sea conditions before choosing a date
From age 6; check first if you are 60
The main GetYourGuide description gives an age range of 6–60, while its participation notes say 6–59. If you are 60, ask the operator before booking rather than assuming you can join.
Discuss health concerns beforehand
Some conditions prevent participation, including pregnancy and certain heart, respiratory or ear conditions. If you have an existing condition or concerns about your health, review the requirements and speak with the operator. You cannot join after drinking alcohol.
If the cave cannot be visited
The decision depends on sea conditions and whether the cave is open, as well as the weather. When the cave is closed or sea conditions are unsuitable, the listing offers an alternative beach experience, which you can accept or choose a full refund instead.
Equipment and photos are included. Bring coins for the facilities

Wear swimwear under your clothes and bring a towel and a change of clothes. Leave time after the activity to shower and change before heading to your next stop.
Use the meeting pin in your booking confirmation
GetYourGuide identifies a white Toyota Land Cruiser as the meeting-point marker. Arrive 10 minutes before the start and match the location pin in your confirmation to the vehicle instructions for the day.
The operator also runs options meeting at Cape Maeda's car park. To avoid confusing this with a trip leaving from another port, head to the meeting point for your booked activity rather than the business's registered address.
Before you book
Does this give us exclusive use of the Blue Cave?
No. Your booked group has its own guide, but the cave is not reserved for you. Other tour participants also use the cave and surrounding sea.
Can I join if I am not a confident swimmer?
Equipment and guide support are available for beginners, but arrangements depend on your health and how comfortable you are in the water. If you cannot swim or are very anxious about entering the water, discuss this with the operator before booking.
Can I join at age 60?
GetYourGuide lists both 6–60 and 6–59 as the age range. If you are 60, contact the operator before booking and wait for confirmation that you can participate.
What happens if rain or rough seas prevent a cave visit?
The listing says the tour can run in the rain when sea conditions are safe. If the cave is closed or the sea is unsuitable, an alternative beach experience is offered; you can accept it or choose a full refund. Follow the instructions on the day.
Can I join in Japanese or English?
GetYourGuide lists Japanese and English guidance. Choose your preferred language on the booking page and check that it is available for your session.
